All About Me

Having always done art in one way or another, I began making cards on a large scale in 2003 following my midlife crisis. Making the New Year 2003 cards was the most wonderful and therapuetic thing I had ever done. Something about being able to put a little bit of love into an envelope, stamp it, and send it off made being alive make more sense. I love being to do that myself, and I love being able to do it for others - every card I make for someone else is something I would give myself.

In real life I work as a special education teacher. I live in Cambridge. At the moment I am also working on writing and illustrating children's books and sometimes baking pancakes. And I like elephants very much.
